Emergency Dentist
Any adult in Camden with an urgent dental problem such as pain, swelling, bleeding or infection can be treated at Guy’s Hospital.
This is a walk-in service for the first 30 patients of the day; no appointment is necessary, but the clinic is usually at full capacity by 09:00.

The 24hr freephone National Domestic Violence Helpline (run in partnership between Women’s Aid and Refuge) is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Homelessness
Camden Health Improvement Practice (CHIP) provides a range of medical services for homeless people and those with substance misuse and mental health issues living in Camden. Services include:
Registration with a GP
– Drop-in medical sessions, blood tests, vaccinations
– Sexual health screening, contraception and cervical screening
– Housing and benefits advice
– Opiate substitution treatment, referral to alcohol and drug workers
– How to Refer: Self- Referral
Drop-in sessions: Mon: 09:30 and 14:00; Tues: 10.30; Wed: 09.30; Thurs: 09:30 Fri: 09:00 and 13:30
Please arrive at the beginning of the drop-in clinics to avoid disappointment. Doors open 10 minutes before the drop-in clinics start.
New patients need to arrive within the first hour of the clinic. Only 2 new patients per session accepted.

PhysioLine
PhysioLine is a contact and assessment service completed over the phone. Patients speak with a physiotherapist, usually within 48 hours, to start managing their problem quickly.
Deaf, interpreter and special-needs patients will be booked directly into a face-to-face physiotherapy appointment.

If you’re struggling with your mental health, a range of local and national help and support is available for people of all ages.
- Speak to your GP.
- Refer yourself for free, confidential support with iCope, or access advice on how to keep psychologically well, at icope.nhs.uk or call 020 3317 6670 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). iCope also offers intercultural therapy in different languages.

Mental health support for children and young people
- If you’re aged between 11 and 18, or a child in your care is, Kooth offers free, safe and anonymous online wellbeing and mental health support. Young people who live in Camden can sign up now for confidential support through a text-based conversation with a qualified counsellor.
- Young people up to the age of 19 can speak to a Childline counsellor online or by calling 0800 1111.
